\"HSY<\/p>\n

Toronto’s HSY have released Feeder,\u00a0<\/em>the second single from HSY\u2019s debut LP, ‘Bask,’ which is due out on Sept 11 via Buzz Records. The track features lead vocals from Anna Mayberry in a style quite different\u00a0from her\u00a0recent debut LP from her side project Anamai.<\/p>\n

The track showcases\u00a0the band at their anarchic best, as screeching guitars build in intensity parallel to Mayberry\u2019s manic delivery until both she and the band seem on the verge of collapse. According to Mayberry, “The song is about shared values. You are made of money and that money is worthless. Fun is work. Eat your job. Is this thing working? What an asset. Sometimes when you eat I get hungry. Let me feed you so that you can’t talk to me.”<\/p>\n
