Dilly Dally’s LP, ‘Sore,’ is streaming now via Exclaim! in Canada and Spotify in the US and as the soundtrack to a NES-style video game starring the band that is available to play on their site<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Use the band’s avatars to defeat the “Gross Purple Dude” (Katie’s choice of villain name) by draining his health before yours, Mortal Kombat-style. Winning entails “the glorious (albeit temporary) quenching of your insatiable blood lust” while listening to the record a week early.<\/p>\n

Katie also put together a list of her favourite video game theme songs in a list she’s calling “Tech-no-stalgia” for Crack Magazine.<\/p>\n

Dilly Dally’s first LP, ‘Sore,’ is due out on October 9 via\u00a0Buzz Records<\/a> in Canada and Partisan<\/a> Worldwide. The album’s singles have received\u00a0huge\u00a0acclaim and have positioned ‘Sore’ as one of the most anticipated debuts of 2015. In support of the record, Dilly Dally will be embarking on their first North American headlining tour.<\/p>\n
