Holy Golden&#8217;s creative process is a labyrinthian breadcrumb trail fueled by their darkest sorrows and brightest fantasies, which ultimately leads them towards their imaginative kingdom of sound &#8211; whose themes are deeply personal and at the same time, universally relevant.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Each song on Holy Golden&#8217;s second album, &#8216;Wax Castle,&#8217; was recorded in a unique location. From a eucalyptus grove near the Hearst Castle &#8211; to an empty mansion beside a frozen Lake Michigan &#8211; to a garage in Martha&#8217;s Vineyard. This effervescent lo-fi rock\/pop is equal parts honest and cryptic and Leslie Schott&#8217;s ethereal vocals choose cathartic vulnerability over glossy perfection.
