The album was produced by Archive and will be released worldwide on the band&#8217;s own Dangervisit label via [PIAS] on 7th October.<\/p>\n<p>Following the ominous beat-driven electro of lead track <em><a href=\"http:\/\/cultureaddicts.com\/2016\/06\/23\/archive-announce-new-album-the-false-foundation-release-new-video\/\" target=\"_blank\">Driving In Nails<\/a>,<\/em> second single <a href=\"http:\/\/cultureaddicts.com\/2016\/09\/03\/archive-unveil-new-track-bright-lights-london-electric-ballroom-show\/\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Bright Lights<\/em><\/a> showcases the more sensitive and soulful side of the Archive sound with Pollard Berrier delivering a beautiful, yearning vocal over a subtle piano and synth backing. Now, they&#8217;ve shared the\u00a0Guy Andrews\u00a0remix of &#8216;<em>Driving In Nails<\/em>&#8216; &#8211; take a listen via Soundcloud below.<\/p>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"100%\" height=\"166\" scrolling=\"no\" frameborder=\"no\" src=\"https:\/\/w.soundcloud.com\/player\/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fapi.soundcloud.com%2Ftracks%2F283915524&auto_play=false&hide_related=false&visual=false&show_comments=true&show_user=true&show_reposts=false&color=95908e\"><\/iframe>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;The False Foundation&#8217; is the follow-up to last year\u2019s critically acclaimed \u2018Restriction\u2019 album, which saw the collective take on a mammoth tour across Europe playing their biggest and most successful shows of their 23 year career, including two nights at the 6,000 capacity Zenith venue in Paris, plus main stage appearances at many of Europe\u2019s major festivals.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking about the new album, founding member Darius Keeler said: <em>\u201cI think just knowing that we were working on our tenth album made this one feel like a landmark record. Our history as a collective has been a mad journey, we\u2019ve trodden such a strange path to arrive at where we are today, and I think in a way that informed the new record and emboldened us to make what is probably the Archive album that I\u2019m most proud of to date\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Talking about the genesis of the album title Keeler says; <em>\u201cPeople are going to read in to who or what The False Foundation is, I guess, but they\u2019re going to have to draw their own conclusions. I have my own take on it, let\u2019s just say there are a lot of potential candidates out there in the world today.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Talking about the November tour Keeler says; <em>\u201cWith our last tour we raised the bar higher than it\u2019s ever been before, some of the gigs on that tour were the best we\u2019ve ever done, so the challenge this time is to take things to a level that we\u2019ve never been to before. But I think we\u2019re just hitting our stride as a live band, both with our performance and production, so I\u2019m massively excited to take the new album out on the road in November\u201d<\/em>.
