\"SpiritSpirit of York Distillery Co. has\u00a0announced the opening of its brand new facility in Toronto\u2019s iconic Distillery District (12 Trinity St.). Honouring the location\u2019s spirit-making tradition, the 7,200 square foot space uses the finest locally-sourced ingredients and world-class distillation equipment to produce small batch gin and vodka. Spirit of York opens officially to the public on Thursday, May 11, 2017.<\/p>\n

By returning the distillation practice to the neighbourhood that bears its very name, Spirit of York aims to capture the essence of Toronto\u2019s dynamic spirit. Housed in a transformed brick and mortar venue, Spirit of York boasts a re-imagined heritage space. With exposed brick, a rustic bitters library, a greenery-lined bar frame and stunning views of the German-imported distillation equipment, the atmosphere champions modern production with notes of nostalgia.<\/p>\n

The Spirit of York distillery will offer expert tasting experiences, carefully curated mixology equipment and customized bitters. In addition to 750mL bottles of Spirit of York\u2019s premium gin and vodka, the distillery will retail small batch productions of additional spirits. The \u2018Spirits Hub\u2019 will be a place for mixology innovation and education for all those who share a passion for spirits.
