\"LowercaseAlbuquerque based soundscape artist Andy Othling\u00a0aka\u00a0Lowercase Noises, has released\u00a0his latest track, The Last Stage of Consumption<\/em>,\u00a0lifted\u00a0from his forthcoming album, ‘The Swiss Illness’\u00a0via<\/em>\u00a0ResidentAdvisor.net<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“One of my favorite musical challenges is to create a song that never changes in a certain aspect, and find a way to make it interesting despite that fact. The chord progression in this song never changes, and it’s all about the textures and dynamics over top. <\/em>My hope was to evoke feelings of nostalgia and loss, but more important is that the listener takes whatever they want or need from it.” \u2013 Andy Othling<\/em><\/p>\n

The poignant new song is just a taste of what to expect\u00a0on the multi-talented musician\u2019s new album, ‘The Swiss Illness’. The album also features the previously released song ‘A Course of Strengthening Medicines<\/a>‘. The new record was written, recorded, produced and mixed by Othling.<\/p>\n
