\"BIRDS\"Brooklyn band BIRDS has announced their debut LP, ‘Everything All At Once,’ due out August 18th via Greenway Records. It’s available now for pre-order<\/u><\/a> on limited-edition splatter vinyl and cassette.<\/p>\n

\"BIRDS<\/p>\n

Made up of Duane\u00a0Lauginiger (guitar, vocals),\u00a0Jessica Reynoza (bass, vocals), Jess Rees (guitar), and Tim Plunkett (drums), BIRDS craft a mangled, fuzzed-out mix of psych, pop, and straightforward rock ‘n’ roll, pairing\u00a0catchy, ’60s-influenced hooks with the blown-out sounds of the ’90s. Their new single, Get Away<\/em>, showcases the band’s more pop-leaning side, with jangly guitar riffs and dreamy vocal\u00a0harmonies. You can stream the track via Soundcloud below.<\/p>\n

Written at Time Castle (a basement studio run by\u00a0Lauginiger) and recorded by Paul Kostabi at Thunderdome Studio, the eight tracks on\u00a0‘Everything All At Once’\u00a0tackle themes of joy, loss, and feeling disconnected.\u00a0Lauginiger and\u00a0Reynoza’s intertwining vocals sit atop lush layers of instrumentation, giving the whole album an etherial, blissed-out\u00a0vibe.<\/p>\n
