Newcombe renames the track \u0093<em>Gates Of Ishtar<\/em>,\u0094 adds vocals, and transforms the fuzzed-out riffs of the original into hazy, expansive downbeat psychedelia. The remix is lifted from &#8216;EP #260,&#8217; which is out now via Sacred Bones. The EP also features three new tracks, as well as a remix of the track \u0093<em>The Dark Rift\u0094<\/em> by F\u00f6llakzoid. In 2013 SQ\u00dcRL and Van Wissem began to compose and perform the score for the film &#8216;Only Lovers Left Alive&#8217;. \u00a0 Bridging ancient and modern sounds, the score serves as a reflection of the distinct textures of Detroit and Tangier.\u00a0 The\u00a0film and soundtrack, the latter which also features Zola Jesus, Madeline Follin and Yasmine Hamdan, were released worldwide in 2014, and quickly earned the group the Cannes Soundtrack Award.
