Delaware indie rock outfit, Fianc\u00e9, just released another moody cut from their upcoming EP, ‘Feverdream’.\u00a0 Titled,\u00a0<\/strong>worms<\/em>, the track showcases the band’s emotional and musical depth. With hypnotic guitars kicking off this woozy tune, the band crashes\u00a0in, filling your ears with endearing melancholia.\u00a0Andrew Fusca’s ghostly vocals croon with languor, \u00a0“it came over for the night \/ made it easier to cry \/ cause i’ve been away, I’ve been away so long \/ I’d be nowhere if nothings wrong”. <\/i>Take a\u00a0listen to\u00a0<\/i>worms <\/em>via\u00a0Atwood Magazine.<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n

The band is also excited to announce their follow-up to the 2016 self-titled record.\u00a0 On this new EP, ‘Feverdream,’ \u00a0the band\u00a0(somewhat) sheds the lo-fi bedroom aesthetic for a more polished studio sound.\u00a0 A collection of songs more thought out and recorded live, Feverdream, <\/em>is the band’s most self-realized piece of work to date.<\/p>\n

“We try to strike a balance between how we write as a group with however personal our singer Andrew’s lyrical content and subjects may be.”<\/em><\/p>\n

As a tight-knit group, Fianc\u00e9 has had the privilege\u00a0of expanding and exploring with each release.\u00a0 Their bond dates back to their middle school days in Delaware.\u00a0 Songwriter Andrew Fusca, guitarist Jeff Marvel, and Tyler Yoder started kicking names around until they settled on Fianc\u00e9.\u00a0 Later they added drummer, Brian Bruce, and keyboardist Sam Nobles to round out the line-up.<\/p>\n

After 2014’s breakout, ‘EP1,’ a self-titled full length, and multiple shows with acts like Built to Spill, Beach Fossils, and Small Black Fianc\u00e9 is primed to make waves in 2018.<\/p>\n
