Following the August 8th limited release of British producer Iglooghost’s anticipated dual ‘Clear Tamei’ and ‘Steel Mogu’ EPs, the back-to-back follow ups to his acclaimed 2017 full-length debut ‘Ne\u014d Wax Bloom’ are now streaming on all platforms.<\/p>\n
Although paired in format, the dual EPs draw from different corners of Igloo\u0092s influences. ‘Steel Mogu’ is a hyperspeed collage of synthetic, trance-influenced synths contorting around violent, mutating 808s – whilst ‘Clear Tamei’ channels lavish string quartets and melancholic, fictional classical instruments.<\/p>\n
The self-released double features are set in his fictional world of Mamu, 3000 years prior to the events of ‘Ne\u014d Wax Bloom’. We are introduced to a young, see-through, god-in-training named Tamei. Although gifted, he and his little cohorts resent their fate of becoming Grid G\u00f6ds – and find themselves wound up in a hyperspeed, cross-temporal battle with a fleet of mysterious, round beings.<\/p>\n
