We&#8217;ve picked the top 5 acts we think you should check out at the festival<strong> <\/strong>(Don&#8217;t worry, you can see the full schedule below)<strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Isla Den<\/strong> will be augmenting their Saturday February 16 evening performance at The Garrison with an interactive art installation &#8211; the &#8220;<strong>analog.world&#8221;<\/strong> video mixing station but it will be on display through all three nights of night time shows (Feb. 15-17) at The Garrison (19+)<\/li><li>Buzz Records&#8217; new wave garage-poppers <strong>Twist&nbsp;<\/strong>will&nbsp;bring&nbsp;their&nbsp;beautiful&nbsp;indie&nbsp;sound&nbsp;to&nbsp;the&nbsp;Garrison&nbsp;on&nbsp;February&nbsp;16.<\/li><li>Cathartic drone-pop from Montreal <strong>Anemone<\/strong> will hit The Garrison on February 16. It&#8217;s also their album release for &#8216;Beat My Distance&#8217;.<\/li><li><strong>n\u00eahiyawak<\/strong> from amiskwaciy [Edmonton] on Treaty 6 territory bring their indigenous space-rock trio to the Monarch Tavern for a day show in February 17.<\/li><li>Toronto psych-folk collective <strong>Beams<\/strong> are playing February 17 at The Garrison.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Wavelength is also hosting a <strong>pre-festival panel discussion<\/strong>, entitled &#8220;<strong>Navigating Unwritten Codes<\/strong>,&#8221; Tuesday Feb. 12 at the Toronto Media Arts Centre (7-9pm, FREE admission), which is being organized and moderated by this year&#8217;s <strong>Guest Curator, Emma Bortolon-Vettor<\/strong>. Emerging out of discussions at Wavelength&#8217;s recent Community Consultation event, this panel featuring key curators and artists from diverse underground DIY music scenes in Toronto, will attempt to crack the &#8220;unwritten codes&#8221; which construct and negotiate scenes. Panelists include: <strong>Carmen Elle<\/strong> (musician, DIANA), <strong>Rosina Kazi<\/strong> (curator, Bricks &amp; Glitter Festival, Unit 2; musician, LAL), <strong>Daniel Mack<\/strong> (Unit 2); <strong>Kayla McGee<\/strong> (executive director, The Music Gallery), and Les Seaforth (curator, $5 Rap Show; musician, More or Les), plus an opening live set by avant-pop act <strong>Heaven<\/strong>, co-presented with City Hall Live. (See below for full panel details.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And new additions to the previously announced nighttime line-up include queer electro-pop duo <strong>Precious Jewel<\/strong> (celebrating the release of new video) performing a late-night set, and drag performance artist <strong>Pearle Harbour<\/strong> joining the line-up as guest host (both on Saturday, Feb. 16 only). And festival artists .<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Single tickets are affordably priced, with the daytime all ages show $10, each night just $15 in advance, and an all access festival pass is on sale for $35.
