{"id":31621,"date":"2019-07-02T12:15:44","date_gmt":"2019-07-02T16:15:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/cultureaddicts.com\/?p=31621"},"modified":"2019-06-29T12:21:39","modified_gmt":"2019-06-29T16:21:39","slug":"secrecies-to-unveil-film-sourced-visuals-to-accompany-debut-lp","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cultureaddicts.com\/?p=31621","title":{"rendered":"Secrecies to unveil film-sourced visuals to accompany debut LP"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Dallas-based synth pop act\u00a0Secrecies<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>released\u00a0their self-titled debut record earlier this month via\u00a0Idol Records, and now the duo have announced plans to release visual accompaniments to every song on the record.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Curated by Shawn Magill and Joey Noga themselves, the visuals mostly focus on found footage and old film the band uses during\u00a0their live sets.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>&#8220;Our interests gravitated towards old gritty old documentaries and educational films from the 60s, 70s, and 80s,&#8221;<\/em> the band\u00a0told <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/planetarygroup.us1.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=bc31868377c214862493bdd83&amp;id=1ae8c377a7&amp;e=e893e838f9\" target=\"_blank\">Destroy\/\/Exist<\/a>. <em>&#8220;Our sounds &#8211; as modern as they are &#8211; tend to come out with these vintage vibes we wanted to bring to eyes. &#8216;What about those cool visuals you use during your live set,&#8217; people kept asking. &#8216;Why don&#8217;t you turn those into music videos?&#8217;
