Having successfully outlasted their self-described \u2018guaranteed real teenagers\u2019<\/em> tagline when they first burst onto the indie scene in 1994, ASH have announced ‘Teenage Wildlife: 25 Years Of Ash’. This “best of” collection will be\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>released on February 14th, 2020 via BMG and available in limited quantities with a special lenticular sleeve both on vinyl and CD.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

‘Teenage Wildlife: 25 Years Of Ash’\u00a0documents the band\u2019s recording career from super catchy debut\u00a0Jack Names The Planets<\/em>\u00a0through to BuzzKill\u00a0<\/em>lifted from 2018\u2019s top twenty album\u00a0‘Islands’. The album also including a brand new offering\u00a0Darkest Hour Of The Night<\/em>\u00a0alongside thirteen Top 40 singles such as\u00a0Girl From Mars, Gold Finger, Oh Yeah<\/em>\u00a0amid an array of the band\u2019s recorded history.\u00a0‘Teenage Wildlife: 25 Years Of Ash’\u00a0also comes in a limited lenticular three CD set that will\u00a0include an 18 track collection\u00a0of rarities including a version of The Buzzcocks\u2019 classic\u00a0Everybody\u2019s Happy Nowadays<\/em>\u00a0(featuring Coldplay\u2019s Chris Martin), the eternal\u00a0‘Teenage Wildlife: 25 Years Of Ash’ and the collection\u2019s infamous title track.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From their mini-album\u00a0‘Trailer,’ a volley of intent with\u00a0Jack Names The Planets<\/em>,\u00a0Uncle Pat<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Petrol<\/em>\u00a0recorded whilst still at school debut album proper, 1996\u2019s Number One album\u00a0‘1977,’ almost imploding with the follow-up\u00a0‘Nu-Clear Sounds,’ the addition of teenage guitarist Charlotte Hatherley, 1998\u2019s\u00a0historic Northern Irish Referendum show in Belfast before a return to the number one spot with the universally acclaimed\u00a0‘Free All Angels’\u00a0seeing Tim Wheeler awarded with an Ivor Novello for\u00a0Shining Light,\u00a0<\/em>consolidating a reputation for a run of extraordinary singles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
