Fresh off a West Coast tour with Cold Showers, Oakland\u2019s Fearing have announced that their debut LP,\u00a0\u2018Shadow,\u2019 will be out on April 10, 2020\u00a0via Funeral Party Records.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After two sold out EPs and a handful of tours under their belt; their debut LP,\u00a0\u2018Shadow,\u2019 finds\u00a0Fearing\u00a0further exploring their unique sonic territory, seamlessly blending elements of French coldwave, European post-punk, and OG shoegaze to create something truly unique in today\u2019s rising dark music scene.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Fearing\u00a0is a dark post-punk band who formed in 2016, when an online friendship quickly blossomed between James Rogers (bass\/vocals) and Brian Vega (guitar\/vocals). What started as collaborations between the two and their bedroom synth projects;\u00a0Fearing\u00a0was formed out of the desire to combine both of their talents and to create something new and fresh in the Bay Area. The addition of Mike Fenton (drums) & Joey Camello (guitar) helped to further expand the sound and depth of the band.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Fearing has toured with\u00a0Choir Boy,\u00a0Cold Showers,\u00a0Death Bells,\u00a0Glaare, and\u00a0Miserable. A West Coast run with\u00a0Soft Kill\u00a0is planned to coincide with the release of\u00a0\u2018Shadow\u2019.\u00a0
