After traveling across the country and time spent in his former group, Dear Tracks, Messore indulged his DIY bedroom pop leanings working as\u00a0Cathedral Bells.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The aptly titled <em>Homebody<\/em> served as the project\u2019s first offering introducing a sprawling, whirring world of shoegaze\/dream-pop atmospheres extending far beyond its humble origins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now, following the release of a debut, self-titled EP at the start of 2019,\u00a0Cathedral Bells\u2019 first full-length,\u00a0\u2018Velvet Spirit,\u2019\u00a0will see release on vinyl and digitally via Good Eye Records.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The LP is preceded by several singles including <em><a href=\"http:\/\/cultureaddicts.com\/cathedral-bells-share-video-for-cemetery-surf\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Cemetery Surf  (opens in a new tab)\">Cemetery Surf <\/a><\/em>and <em><a href=\"http:\/\/cultureaddicts.com\/cathedral-bells-shares-his-whirring-new-single-a-passing-phase\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"A Passing Phase (opens in a new tab)\">A Passing Phase<\/a><\/em> which drew initial praise from taste-makers including Indie Shuffle who said; \u201c<em>I think Cathedral Bells have struck the perfect balance of throwback synth work, melodic progression and overall shoegazey vibes. The result works in the 80s, the 90s, the naughties and in 2018.
