And now, they are following it up with a new video for the track <em>Scavengers<\/em>, which is lifted from the LP. The video clip was directed by\u00a0Gerasimos Domenikos.\u00a0Watch it via YouTube below. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-youtube wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<span class=\"embed-youtube\" style=\"text-align:center; display: block;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"youtube-player\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/8wZdsxPPagQ?version=3&#038;rel=1&#038;showsearch=0&#038;showinfo=1&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;fs=1&#038;hl=en-CA&#038;autohide=2&#038;wmode=transparent\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" style=\"border:0;\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox\"><\/iframe><\/span>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>It&#8217;s the second video the band have released to promote\u00a0the album, following last month&#8217;s video for\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=C08oBMoaQW4\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Stolen Flesh<\/em><\/a>. Mechanimal\u2019s last record was 2016\u2019s \u2018Delta Pi Delta\u2019. In June last year, they released the \u2018White Flag\u2018 single which marked the return of original singer Freddie back on vocals with his characteristic spoken word.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2018Crux\u2018 is an in-depth exploration of the past, present, and (possible) future of everyday life with the aim of personal awakening. It focuses on an idea that can account for the melding of seemingly incompatible musical worlds and theories with respect to the mechanisms of each one of them. It could easily be described as the absolute \u201ccrossover\u201d album of Mechanimal, or simply the one where the ideas and obsessions of its members meet at the heart of the mechanical animal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2018Crux\u2019 is the Mechanimal manifesto. It consists of electronic music, spoken word, cut-up images and videos, deconstructed slogans, ideas and actions. A multidimensional collage inspired by the harsh reality, or otherwise the violent regularity that is &#8220;enforced&#8221; (by the new music industry to home entertainment and by &#8220;fake news&#8221; to climate change), and at the same time criticized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Believing that everything is political and that we are all guilty of what is happening, Mechanimal, without limitation, use a fragmented sound palette to describe ten stories of reality deconstructed.
