The track is lifted from her debut album&nbsp;\u2018<a href=\"https:\/\/girlieaction.us1.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=1d59aca4aeedaab429816159e&amp;id=a3b1c308e6&amp;e=3a430a552a\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">DOOMPOP<\/a>\u2019, which will be out&nbsp;October 23.&nbsp;Featuring wall-of-sound grunge guitars and raucous drumwork courtesy of frequent collaborator&nbsp;Nick Russo,&nbsp;the song is a raw and powerful snapshot of Drallos \u201c<em>trying to healthily sort through resentment \/ feeling left out and poke fun at myself,<\/em>\u201d as she explains.&nbsp;Watch the video clip for <em>Velcro Dog<\/em> via YouTube below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<span class=\"embed-youtube\" style=\"text-align:center; display: block;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"youtube-player\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/XTdacwAqDnI?version=3&#038;rel=1&#038;showsearch=0&#038;showinfo=1&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;fs=1&#038;hl=en-CA&#038;autohide=2&#038;wmode=transparent\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" style=\"border:0;\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox\"><\/iframe><\/span>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Inspired by the albums that helped Drallos navigate her teen years like&nbsp;Nirvana\u2019s&nbsp;\u2018Nevermind\u2019 or&nbsp;The Jesus and Mary Chain\u2019s&nbsp;\u2018Psychocandy,\u2019 \u2018DOOMPOP\u2019 is full of headbanging earworms that tackle the challenges of growing up and the universal effects that has on one\u2019s mental health. Drallos explains,&nbsp;<em>\u201cIt\u2019s an honest reflection of my attempts to grow up and make sense of absurdity. I wrote the first song in my last month of high school at 18 and finished recording\/producing just a month after my 20th birthday. With these songs I wanted to go as deep into my insecurities and confusion, however immature I felt. Just write what I felt when I felt it in order to move on.\u201d<\/em><br>&nbsp;<br>Drallos has been making music as Zilched since the summer of 2017. Her debut EP&nbsp;\u2018<a href=\"https:\/\/girlieaction.us1.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=1d59aca4aeedaab429816159e&amp;id=c04a5e8848&amp;e=3a430a552a\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Pulling Teeth<\/a>\u2019 was released in 2018 and provided the first glimpse of Zilched\u2019s dizzying, wildly unpredictable noise-pop. Leading up to&nbsp;\u2018DOOMPOP,\u2019 Zilched released <em><a href=\"https:\/\/girlieaction.us1.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=1d59aca4aeedaab429816159e&amp;id=49ca39b351&amp;e=3a430a552a\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Sleeper<\/a> <\/em>earlier this year, following <a href=\"https:\/\/girlieaction.us1.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=1d59aca4aeedaab429816159e&amp;id=531aed721f&amp;e=3a430a552a\"><em>The Morning<\/em><\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/girlieaction.us1.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=1d59aca4aeedaab429816159e&amp;id=66090318ae&amp;e=3a430a552a\"><em>Blue Doom<\/em><\/a> in 2019.
