Sharing the melodically enchanting first single,\u00a0<em>Venezia (Opening)\u00a0<\/em>which is now, the album will be available to stream\/purchase via all DSP\u2019s and vinyl\u00a0on April 16<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0of this year. A sound which encompasses everything from disco to pop, dark electronic tones and more,\u00a0Yuksek<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>has also composed remixes for and collaborated with the likes of\u00a0Gorillaz,\u00a0Phoenix,\u00a0UGOD,\u00a0Lana Del Rey,\u00a0JD Samson,\u00a0Boston Bun,\u00a0Moby,\u00a0Brodinski,\u00a0The Magician\u00a0and\u00a0Alex Metric. Stepping outside of the realms of conventional electronic music production,\u00a0Yuksek<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>has spent a proportion of his career writing for film, television and stage including\u00a0Marguerite et Julien\u00a0by\u00a0Val\u00e9rie Donzelli\u00a0and Netflix documentary\u00a0<em>Gregory<\/em>.\u00a0One of\u00a0Yuksek\u2019s<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>most successful recent scores to date, saw him compose the soundtrack for the popular French television series,\u00a0<em>En<\/em><strong><em> <\/em><\/strong><em>th\u00e9rapie<\/em><strong><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>\u2013 An adaption of the Israeli series\u00a0<em>BeTipul<\/em>\u00a0which was later released by HBO in the U.S as\u00a0<em>In Treatment<\/em>.<br>\u00a0<br>Never intent with the comfort of his own creative spectrum or success, the origins of\u00a0Destiino<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>revert back to 2017, when the Rheims-born electronic producer was invited to take part in a unique experiment &#8211; a residence at visual artist\u00a0Xavier Veilhan\u2019s\u00a0Studio Venezia. The installation, as part of\u00a0The 57th Venice Biennale, invited musicians to make use of its instruments in order to compose live in front of an audience.\u00a0<br>\u00a0<br>Inspired by the spontaneity and improvising nature of the experience,\u00a0Yuksek<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>returned home with a new sonic focus to push the limits of his artistic boundaries, break conventional creative processes and surrender to spontaneity by recording improvised tracks in one sequence on his armada of analogue machines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cDestiino is Yuksek\u2019s alter ego, it came out straight from the synthesizers PCB, without over thinking. It\u2019s the result of lonely recording sessions when I pushed the \u2018stop recording button\u2019 when exhausted. It also came out of public recording sessions at Xavier Veilhan exhibition in Venice Biennale. I could hardly describe the style, but I can only say that it\u2019s most of the time one shot recording, nearly no editing, like sur-realist\u2019s automatic writing, like joy in the machine.\u201d\u00a0<\/em>\u2013\u00a0Destiino\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Along with label boss\u00a0Chlo\u00e9, who shares an equal love and inclination towards shifting away from club formatted sounds and holding a deep appreciation for narrating stories with music,\u00a0Yuksek<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>created edited versions of his recordings which withhold the desired raw musical feel. As time-progressed and ideas between the two artists were exchanged and flourishing, the\u00a0Destiino<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>project was born.<br>\u00a0<br>Destiino<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>first arrived in February of this year with opening single and 4-track EP,\u00a0\u2018Afsila,\u2019 demonstrating\u00a0the darker atmospheric tones and frantic melodies of\u00a0Yuksek\u2019s<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>creative psyche.
