Dublin\u2019s Fontaines D.C. have been nominated for International Group at the BRIT Awards 2021, which is set to take place\u00a0on 11th May.

This is the band\u2019s first-ever BRIT Award nomination and comes on the heels of their sophomore album \u2018A Hero\u2019s Death\u2019, which debuted at #2 in the UK charts, as well as earning a GRAMMY nomination for Best Rock Album, and some of the best reviews of any album released in the last year. Far from a re-hash of their swaggering 2019 debut (\u2018Dogrel\u2019<\/a>), \u2018A Hero\u2019s Death\u2019 arrived battered and bruised – albeit beautiful, with songs that are patient, confident, and heady takes on the modern world and its great uncertainty.\u00a0\u2018A Hero\u2019s Death\u2019 was produced by\u00a0Dan Carey (Black Midi, Bat For Lashes).
