They also announced that they have signed with Toronto-based record label&nbsp;Royal Mountain Records, home to Alvvays,&nbsp;Wild Pink, METZ and more. You\u2019ve put warnings in place, but ignore them when they alert you of danger. Sometimes we become numb to the burdens we carry &#8211; \u201ccarrying the weight of stones\/with pins to his bones\u201d &#8211; like the sensation of needles when you cut off circulation. Eventually, we need to come to the realization that \u201ctruth is heavier than lies\u201d, that it\u2019s easier to roll over than fight your way out. In order to dig yourself out, you need to be vulnerable with yourself or else you\u2019re just blindly accepting fate as is.<\/em>&#8220;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hooking up with producer Brad Wood (Touch\u00e9 Amor\u00e9, Smashing Pumpkins, Liz Phair), <em>Canaries<\/em> is soaring yet direct, a visceral statement of intent from the band that expands on their refreshing self-titled debut that saw love from the likes of KEXP, NME, DIY, Bandcamp, and The Line Of Best Fit, as well as radio play on KCRW, BBC 6Music and BBCRadio 1 and a supporting run with Silversun Pickups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Canaries <\/em>is out now on Royal Mountain Records. It is available&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/smarturl.it\/cuffedup\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cuffed Up will be embarking on a full US tour as main support for&nbsp;The Joy  Formidable, beginning in Seattle on 11\/26 and&nbsp;making stops in Portland, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston, New York, Philadelphia along the way and ending in Burlingon on 12\/18.
