{"id":37345,"date":"2021-08-14T12:15:00","date_gmt":"2021-08-14T16:15:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/cultureaddicts.com\/?p=37345"},"modified":"2021-08-09T07:43:29","modified_gmt":"2021-08-09T11:43:29","slug":"the-lord-composes-collaborates-with-robin-wattie-on-needle-cast","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cultureaddicts.com\/?p=37345","title":{"rendered":"THE LORD composes + collaborates with Robin Wattie on \u2018Needle Cast\u2019"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Composer and curator\u00a0Greg Anderson\u00a0(Southern Lord Recordings;\u00a0Sunn O))),\u00a0Engine Kid,\u00a0Goatsnake) has shared a new song as a part of his forthcoming explorative compositions and collaborations as\u00a0THE LORD\u00a0available via\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/indiepublicity.cmail19.com\/t\/y-l-oiudjjk-itjldhidjy-k\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Bandcamp<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The first track to surface is the thunderous song <em>Needle Cast,<\/em> which features\u00a0BIG|BRAVE\u00a0guitarist\/vocalist\u00a0Robin Wattie.\u00a0Wattie\u2019s striking, shimmering vocals pair perfectly with Anderson\u2019s multi-faceted instrumental approach.\u00a0 Anderson comments: \u201c<em>I\u2019m extremely honoured to have been able to collaborate with\u00a0Robin Wattie\u00a0on this track.\u00a0 I\u2019m a massive fan of\u00a0BIG|BRAVE\u00a0especially Robin&#8217;s\u00a0emotive vocals and infectious melodies.\u00a0Immediately after composing this track, I was envisioning her dynamic vocals within the piece.\u00a0The performance she recorded went beyond what I had imagined.
