They\u2019ve also announced a live performance at this year&#8217;s Canadian Music Week in Toronto\u00a0on June 7th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Would You Ever<\/em> sees the band sit comfortably amongst their contemporaries. An emotive indie-pop anthem built up with breezy, uplifting textures and honed through singer Emily Sera&#8217;s unique, heartfelt delivery. With the EP being recorded over the course of the pandemic, the release of \u2018Everything Is\u2019 comes with a sense of respite and wistfulness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Guitarist Lorenzo Romero says, \u201c\u2018<em>Everything Is\u2019 is a compilation of songs that reflect on our exploration of ourselves and the world around us. Combining elements of folk, grunge and shoegaze, the band manifests their emotions through the use of evocative vocal melodies and expansive sonic textures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Citing influences such as Wolf Alice and The Joy Formidable, Coming Up Roses is fronted by vocalist-bassist Emily Sera and completed by guitarists Darius Oon and Lorenzo Romero.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since forming in 2018, their catchy melodies, energetic songs, and engaging audience interaction have earned them a reputation as one of the most exciting live bands in the region &#8211; performing at international showcases and festivals including Music Matters Live, Fred Perry Subculture and Canadian Music Week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In early 2019, Coming Up Roses issued their debut EP, &#8216;Waters&#8217;, to wide acclaim.
