The latest single arrives following a string of recent tracks\u00a0which have found support at\u00a0Stereogum, Paste, Clash, Under the Radar, Exclaim, CBC Radio, Brooklyn Vegan\u00a0and more\u00a0with the new record following their self-titled debut which earned acclaim at\u00a0NYLON, DIY, CRACK,\u00a0MOJO, KEXP and BBC 6 Music\u00a0in 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Speaking about this new single, Sarah of the band says: <em>&#8220;I am a firm believer in \u201cwhat goes down must come up,\u201d\u00a0people usually say the opposite, but this is a motto I\u2019ve used throughout my life. When things aren\u2019t going well, they have a tendency to bounce back. Memento, to me, is my pick-up song. When I sing\u00a0\u201cgotta get you on your way now\u201d,\u00a0I\u2019m saying that it\u2019s time to move on and move forward. I\u2019ve had many moments in my life where I\u2019ve lost momentum and felt directionless like I\u2019d fallen into a black hole. It\u2019s hard to crawl out of the hole and get back on track. I think there are a lot of people who spend their time thinking about how they need to get back on track.
