Alongside the launch of the debut album, the band has shared a video for album standout <em>Don\u2019t Talk To Me<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The 4-piece, who have carved a niche at the forefront of Queer-led dance-pop recorded the album with the\u00a0legendary\u00a0David Wrench\u00a0(Frank Ocean, The xx, Young Fathers).\u00a0With warm-up slots for\u00a0Metronomy, Coldplay, Wet Leg\u00a0and\u00a0Friendly Fires\u00a0alongside their own crowd-igniting shows &#8211;\u00a0Porij have been met with a landslide of attention at press and radio, lauded as \u201cones to watch\u201d by tastemakers including\u00a0The Guardian,\u00a0NME, BBC Radio 1\u00a0and\u00a0BBC 6 Music, as well as support at\u00a0Stereogum, KCRW, WFUV, FLOOD Magazine, Brooklyn Vegan\u00a0and more. Every raw nerve, every bloody scrape and sprain, have been necessary for that unavoidable thing we must grit our teeth and bare: growing up. Vocalist and keyboardist Scout Moore (Egg), bassist James Middleton, guitarist Jacob Maguire and drummer Nathan Carroll are armed with hard-won experience, strengthened bonds and a renewed sense of passion. Their debut album\u00a0Teething\u00a0is both a coming-of-age story and a bottling of the particular magic that is unmistakably \u2013 and definitively \u2013 Porij.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Rather than floating just beyond our reach on a digital cloud, Porij are a real band anchored to tangible sound.
