Perennial pop enthusiasts\u00a0ART BRUT\u00a0have announced a new\u00a0limited edition double compilation LP\u00a0titled\u00a0\u2018A Record Collection, Reduced To A Mixtape\u2019\u00a0plus a\u00a05 CD box set,\u00a0\u2018And Yes, This Is My Singing Voice!,\u2019 both set for release\u00a0on\u00a0July 5th, 2024\u00a0via Demon Records and Edsel Box Set.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Double LP set \u2018A Record Collection, Reduced To A Mixtape\u2019 features tracks taken from their seminal albums \u2018Bang Bang Rock and Roll,\u2019 \u2018It\u2019s A Bit Complicated,\u2019 \u2018Art Brut vs Satan,\u2019 and \u2018Brilliant! Tragic!,\u2019 alongside rare live and alternate takes, all compiled by the band.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It serves as the first comprehensive career retrospective from Art Brut since the \u2018Top of the Pops\u2019 album in 2014, and brings together the best and most well\u2011known tracks from their catalogue. The special edition (pressed on 140g marine green vinyl and limited to 500 copies) also features a liner note written by Art Brut frontman Eddie Argos, and a hand\u2011signed print.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, the new 5 CD box set, \u2018And Yes, This Is My Singing Voice!,\u2019 is the first edition of a two-part set: a comprehensive compilation of the South London art-rockers\u2019 career, spanning their early discography, demo takes, alternative mixes and live recordings between 2003 \u2013 2008. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The collection features the debut album \u2018Bang Bang Rock and Roll,\u2019 their second studio album \u2018It\u2019s A Bit Complicated,\u2019 and also includes unreleased live material \u2018Art Brut \u2013 Live in Paris 2006\u2019 and \u2018Art Brut Live From ULU with Horns\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The CD box set comes with a 24 page zine, with a 2,000 word liner note from Art Brut frontman Eddie Argos and exclusive photography of the band. It also includes a signed print of an original Art Brut artwork, painted by Eddie Argos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Art Brut will play a run of UK and DE shows this September and October 2024, with a London date at Brixton Electric on October 26th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
