Though best known for their work with Minimal Compact and Wire, Immersion provides an outlet for their ongoing fascination to craft enthralling, unique musical soundscapes. Immersion emerged in the early 1990s against the backdrop of European minimal techno releasing\u00a0\u2018Oscillating\u2019\u00a0(1994),\u00a0\u2018<em>Full\u00a0Immersion<\/em>\u2019\u00a0(1995) &#8211; feat. Claude Young, Mick Harris, Gez Varley and Mark Gage- &amp;\u00a0\u2018Low\u00a0Impact\u2019\u00a0(1999).\u00a0<br><br>It then fell silent as the couple experimented with other vehicles for their collaboration. Returning in 2016, their sound was unmistakable and yet evolved into a different beast.
