The album follows acclaimed singles\u00a0<em>Suck Out The Pain<\/em>, <em>You Blew It!<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0<em>The Machine<\/em>\u00a0which garnered attention from notable outlets including\u00a0The Alternative, Atwood Magazine, Bandcamp, The Big Takeover, CREEM, Flood Magazine\u00a0and more.\u00a0<br><br>In celebration of the album&#8217;s release, Little Hag shared\u00a0a new music video\u00a0for the track\u00a0<em>All 3<\/em>. The striking video was directed, edited by\u00a0Mickey Mann. On the inspiration behind the song,\u00a0Little Hag\u2019s Avery Mandeville\u00a0says,\u00a0&#8220;<em>I saw a picture of my ex (from years ago) and his new girlfriend and decided to ruin my day about it. I was lonely and thought about how it could&#8217;ve been me with him at that wedding, in that apartment, living that life. Which is stupid because he&#8217;s honestly ugly. The album delivers a diverse array of sounds, from punk rock anthems to deep disco grooves, torch songs, and folk ballads. Mandeville\u2019s lyrical exploration spans a wide range of themes: a critique of capitalism in&nbsp;<em>1000 Birds<\/em><strong>,<\/strong> reflections on past relationships in&nbsp;<em>Would It Kill You?<\/em> and&nbsp;<em>You Blew It!,<\/em> and self-examination in tracks like&nbsp;<em>God I&#8217;m So Annoying<\/em> and&nbsp;<em>HHSTTHN<\/em><strong>.<\/strong>&nbsp;The album also features poignant and audacious tracks such as&nbsp;<em>All 3<\/em>&nbsp;and<strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><em>Oops!<\/em><strong>,<\/strong> which explore the contrast between public and private selves, while<strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><em>Suck Out The Pain<\/em> imagines the removal of heartache. Highlights include&nbsp;King Cake, a heartfelt sapphic love song, and&nbsp;<em>The Machine<\/em><strong>,<\/strong> a tribute to Mandeville\u2019s vibrator and a metaphor for the evolving AI landscape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Little Hag, formed in 2016 in the suburbs of Central Jersey by Mandeville,&nbsp;guitarist Matt Fernicola,&nbsp;and&nbsp;drummer Owen Flanagan,&nbsp;has since been joined by&nbsp;bassist Mitchell Warren-Devlin&nbsp;and&nbsp;keyboardist\/vocalist Cara Introcaso.&nbsp;Mandeville and Fernicola came up through the local open mic scene, eventually hosting their own at the legendary&nbsp;Inkwell Coffeehouse in West Long Branch,&nbsp;where they honed their craft and worked on what would become Avery\u2019s debut solo album.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After signing to Hoboken\u2019s Bar\/None Records in 2020, Little Hag released&nbsp;\u2018<a href=\"https:\/\/t.e2ma.net\/click\/zvxxfl\/3m9fkn\/zjc12r\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Whatever Happened To Avery Jane<\/a>,\u2019&nbsp;a compilation of older tunes including the summer bummer pop single <em>Tetris<\/em>. Their following EP,&nbsp;\u2018Breakfast,\u2019 featured the raw tracks <em>Piss<\/em>, <em>Blood<\/em>, and <em>Cum<\/em>. The sophomore LP&nbsp;\u2018<a href=\"https:\/\/t.e2ma.net\/click\/zvxxfl\/3m9fkn\/fcd12r\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Leash\u2019&nbsp;<\/a>was abrasive and daring, calling out a variety of shitty dudes &#8211; exes, alcoholics, and old man stalkers &#8211; and the ugly ways we self sabotage. The power of these feminist anthems saw Little Hag take the late stage performing with&nbsp;Bright Eyes, Alex G, Interpol,&nbsp;and&nbsp;Spoon&nbsp;in their hometown of Asbury Park, with&nbsp;Naked Giants&nbsp;in L.A,. and at&nbsp;Feile Na Greine festival in Limerick, Ireland.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For&nbsp;\u2018Now That\u2019s What I Call Little Hag,\u2019 Mandeville took time to clear her head after a breakup, traveling to Durham, N.C., to write a song every day for a month before moving to South Philly.
