The track is an alt rock gem that explores themes of complicity &amp; consequence, while acting as a means for the listener to process extremely uncomfortable truths about human nature, using Ghislaine Maxwell\u00a0as a focal point. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Following on from previous singles\u00a0<em>Pizza For Breakfast<\/em>, an incendiary number exploring the impact of media,\u00a0<em>Madam G<\/em>\u00a0reflects on the tension created between allure &amp; morality, while capturing the complexity of Ghislaine\u2019s choices &amp; the ultimate reckoning she faces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Croatian lead vocalist\u00a0<em>Mani<\/em>\u00a0explains:\u00a0<em>\u201cIt\u2019s easy to judge someone based on their isolated actions, but understanding a person deeply is far more challenging. The lyric challenges the simplistic view of a modern women as either a victim or perpetrator, inviting us to reflect on the intricate factors that lead a person into morally questionable situations. The line, \u201cDaddy raised no fool&#8230;&#8221; highlights (but does not in any way excuse)\u00a0Madam G&#8217;s behaviour &amp; the potential influences that can lead someone astray\u201d.\u00a0<\/em>All 3 singles are produced by\u00a0Danton Supple\u00a0(<em>Suede<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Elbow<\/em>) who the band feel has captured the essence of their sound perfectly. Three musicians called Rob, Paul &amp; Marco meet Croatian physical therapist Mani &amp; talk about forming a band. Mani starts humming guitar riffs in their ears\u2026\u00a0<em>\u201cna-na, na-na, na-na\u201d,<\/em>\u00a0that kind of thing \u2013 then he starts sending voice notes &amp; on it goes. It soon transpires that the riffs &amp; the lyrics come to Mani at the same time since they\u2019re formed out of the same idea. Some music scholars like to call this\u00a0<em>doubling<\/em>: we just think of it as what\u00a0proFESSional\u00a0do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">proFESSional\u00a0are Mani (vocals), Rob Hennebry (guitars), Paul Fifield (guitars), Marco Gaspari (bass) &amp; Jonny Brister (drums). In terms of flavours\/influences, think\u00a0<em>Stooges<\/em>, think\u00a0<em>Hives<\/em>, think\u00a0<em>Fontaines DC<\/em>\u2026 that sort of thing. Or at least that\u2019s when they\u2019re not reminding you of\u00a0<em>Buzzcocks<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Swell Maps<\/em>\u00a0or\u00a0<em>Spizz\u2026<\/em>\u00a0or something else that\u2019s been preserved in a time capsule &amp; transported from 1978. That\u2019s right: there\u2019s nothing 1977 about them at all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In today\u2019s world we\u2019re living in a pandemic of judgement that\u2019s driving us all further apart from one another &amp;\u00a0proFESSional\u00a0are not afraid to tackle difficult subjects that arise from that environment in their music.
