UK\u2019s Warmduscher, fresh off the release of their raw and rollicking, critically acclaimed album\u00a0\u2018Too Cold To Hold,\u2019 is gearing up for their North American tour set to begin next month. “We first collaborated with Ben (the filmmaker) on the\u00a0Wild Flowers\u00a0video,”<\/em>\u00a0shares frontman Clams Baker Jr.\u00a0“Ben\u2019s artistry is rare these days\u2014every frame is hand-painted and shot in stop motion. His perspective aligns with ours, and we\u2019re thrilled to share this video as we prepare for our next adventure in North America. Warmduscher formed in 2014 through a spontaneous collision of members from other prominent bands. What began as an impromptu side project quickly evolved into a powerhouse musical entity with its own distinctive sound.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over the course of four previous albums\u2014\u2018Khaki Tears\u2019\u00a0(2015),\u00a0\u2018Whale City\u2019\u00a0(2018),\u00a0\u2018Tainted Lunch\u2019\u00a0(2019), and\u00a0\u2018At the Hotspot\u2019\u00a0(2022)\u2014the band has worked with esteemed producers like Dan Carey and Hot Chip\u2019s Joe Goddard & Al Doyle, earning praise for their DIY ethos and fearless genre-blending. Their tracks have become staples of the 6Music playlist, while their electrifying live performances, led by the magnetic Clams Baker Jr., cement their status as one of London\u2019s most thrilling acts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With\u00a0\u2018Too Cold To Hold,\u2019 Warmduscher has pushed boundaries to create their most eclectic and honest album yet.\u00a0\u201cWe wanted this record to be brutally honest about who we are,<\/em>\u201d\u00a0explains Ben.\u00a0\u201cWarmduscher thrives on chaos, but there\u2019s a method to it. That balance is what keeps things fresh, and it was crucial for this record to capture the energy of our live shows without falling into repetitive patterns.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2018Too Cold To Hold\u2019\u00a0doesn\u2019t just deliver what fans want\u2014it also offers what they didn\u2019t know they needed. After touring, Clams and Ben channeled the live-show energy into something deeply creative rather than letting it fade into a post-tour lull. The result is an album informed by wanderlust, both practical and philosophical, showcasing the band\u2019s distinctive sound and ever-evolving artistry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
