But looking back, I can see it\u2019s a song about trusting your instincts, especially when it comes to love and friendship.<\/strong>\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While it starts with an almost <strong>optimistic<\/strong> tone, the chorus twists into something deeper: <strong><em>&#8220;I can see it in the gloom<\/em>.&#8221;<\/strong> For Treanor, this realization hit only after the album was complete.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201c<em><strong>It\u2019s a sleeper track for me\u2014I didn\u2019t fully appreciate how much I loved it until everything was wrapped up. The harmonies, the lead melody in the bridge by Paul Boutin, even the verse vocal\u2014it all came together in a way that still surprises me.<\/strong>\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>&#8216;ASYLUM HARBOUR&#8217;\u2014A SAFE HAVEN IN SOUND<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Named after a maritime term for sheltering from the storm, \u2018<strong>Asylum Harbour<\/strong>\u2019 marks a new chapter for <strong>Tombstones In Their Eyes<\/strong>. The album, released via <strong>Kitten Robot Records<\/strong>, is a powerful exploration of <strong>resurfacing after chaos<\/strong>, capturing the journey of healing post-pandemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Produced by <strong>Paul Roessler<\/strong> (45 Grave, The Screamers, Nina Hagen), with co-production by <strong>John Treanor<\/strong>, the record was shaped within the walls of <strong>Kitten Robot Studios<\/strong>\u2014a space known for its gritty, experimental energy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>THE ART OF VISUAL STORYTELLING<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Bringing the music to life is <strong>Francesca Bonci<\/strong>, a boundary-pushing artist known for her work with <strong>The Brian Jonestown Massacre\u2019s Collin Hegna, The Dandy Warhols&#8217; Peter G. Holmstr\u00f6m, and Slowdive\u2019s Rachel Goswell<\/strong>. Her visual interpretation of &#8220;Mirror&#8221; layers <strong>chromatic textures and vintage analog effects<\/strong>, warping time and space in a way that mirrors the song\u2019s immersive sound.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201c<em><strong>This video was instinctive, emotional, and abstract. I imagined John\u2019s soul stepping in and out of that mirror\u2014an endless loop of self-reflection.<\/strong>\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>FROM DEMOS TO A FULL-BLOWN PSYCH-ROCK FORCE<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Tombstones In Their Eyes started as an intimate collaboration between <strong>Treanor (Los Angeles) and childhood friend James Cooper (New York City)<\/strong>, swapping demos across coasts.
