The Story Behind Soap<\/em><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

“This tune started as a skeleton of a song years ago before it took the form you hear today. It\u2019s been turned inside out, transformed from an instrumental into a tightly wound vocal piece\u2014full of secrets held in broken hands. Featuring the first-ever use of acoustic drumming on a Coffin Prick track (courtesy of CP live-band drummer Alejandro Salazar-Dyer), Soap is an ode to the strange paradox of vanishing and being discovered at the same time. A way of scrubbing the record clean. Keeping clean isn\u2019t just a metaphor\u2014it\u2019s a necessity. Also, fun fact: this track features the only guitar solo on the entire album.
