Alongside the release, they\u2019ve just announced their very first headline show, set for June 12 at London\u2019s Waiting Room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After an electrifying year marked by high-profile showcases at spots like So Young, Rough Trade, The Alt Escape, and The Windmill, and following the buzz generated by last summer\u2019s singles <em>Oar<\/em> and <em>Teething<\/em>, the quintet is now taking their sound to a whole new level. Mixing the stranger edges of \u201890s guitar, post-punk, and shoegaze, <em>Pirouette<\/em> blends nostalgia with a fresh twist. Recorded with Theo Verney, the track showcases a rich tapestry of textured hooks, layered vocals, and a rhythm section that won\u2019t let you sit still. It felt like everything was on the brink of transformation. By the time we hit the practice room, the full band was in place, and the song became an ode to new beginnings, even as parts of the past lingered.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Already a live favourite during their recent shows in 2024, <em>Pirouette<\/em> is a highlight on their current tour with THUS LOVE. Their tour schedule is buzzing with energy, including appearances at The Great Escape, Dot to Dot, Get Together Festival, and more.
