This latest drop comes ahead of the deluxe reissue of their debut album, \u2018words from a wishing well\u2019 (Deluxe Edition), hitting stores on May 23rd via Angel Tapes \/ Fire Talk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As praised by <em>Paste<\/em>, &#8220;<em>words from a wishing well is about love, fear, jealousy, grief and anxiety\u2014a culmination of what shower curtain has been through so far, and where all these different shapes may take the project next.\u201d<\/em> <em>Alt Press<\/em> adds, &#8220;<em>words from a wishing well fleshes out those formative memories overtop a swirl of shoegaze, grunge, and indie rock.\u201d<\/em> And <em>Stereogum<\/em> calls it, \u201c<em>haunting, sentimental, and catchy,\u201d <\/em>a blend of slacker rock, dreamy shoegaze, and pop-forward melodies that leaves a lasting impression.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hailing from NYC, the quartet is led by Brazilian-American artist Victoria Winter (guitar\/vocals), joined by Ethan Williams (guitar), Sean Terrell (drums), and Cody Hudgins (bass). Following the buzz from their \u201c<em>sharp-edged epic\u201d<\/em> debut, \u2018words from a wishing well\u2019 (Deluxe Edition) reimagines some of their standout tracks with contributions from independent talents like fantasy of a broken heart, Crate, and LAILA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Their latest remix, <em>you\u2019re like me<\/em> &#8211; Retail Drugs Remix, infuses hyperpop energy into their \u201890s-inspired alt-rock sound, flipping the script from rock to an electrified, electronic  vibe.
