It&#8217;s a rare opportunity to catch the band in the flesh\u2014don\u2019t sleep on tickets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This remix release follows the band\u2019s 2024 full-length &#8216;Move On&#8217;, their&nbsp;<strong>10th studio album<\/strong>, which continues to highlight their ability to reflect on the past while pushing sound forward. The limited-edition box set flew off shelves, but the album is still available to stream and purchase&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/section25.ffm.to\/moveon\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For the uninitiated, Section 25\u2019s legacy runs deep. Formed in&nbsp;<strong>Blackpool in 1977<\/strong>&nbsp;by brothers&nbsp;<strong>Larry and Vincent Cassidy<\/strong>, the band became a key figure in the Factory Records scene. Their early releases were shaped by Joy Division\u2019s&nbsp;<strong>Ian Curtis<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>Rob Gretton<\/strong>, and produced by post-punk architect&nbsp;<strong>Martin Hannett<\/strong>. Over time, they transitioned from raw post-punk to pioneering electro and synth-pop, culminating in cult classics like &#8216;From the Hip&#8217; and the Bernard Sumner-produced&nbsp;<em>Looking From A Hilltop<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Their influence? Immeasurable. Sampled by&nbsp;<strong>Kanye West<\/strong>&nbsp;on &#8216;The Life of Pablo&#8217;, name-dropped by&nbsp;<strong>LCD Soundsystem<\/strong>, and respected across decades of underground and mainstream scenes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now down to a duo\u2014<strong>Vincent Cassidy<\/strong>&nbsp;and long-time collaborator&nbsp;<strong>Steven Stringer<\/strong>\u2014Section 25 continue to evolve while staying true to the core of what made them iconic: atmospheric, emotional, and sonically daring music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Move On \/ Back In The Day (Outernationale Remixes)<\/strong>&nbsp;is out&nbsp;<strong>now<\/strong>, and you can catch the band live on:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>June 6<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 Liverpool, Rough Trade<br><strong>September 7<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 Edinburgh, Voodoo Rooms<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s a new chapter, but still unmistakably Section 25.
