This freshly-formed shoegaze\/dreampop outfit have dropped their debut single\u00a0<em>Tiny Cowboy<\/em>, and it\u2019s one of those rare first impressions that stops you in your tracks and leaves you floating.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Formed in 2024,&nbsp;<em>wavepool<\/em>&nbsp;pulls from the hazy fringes of sound, echoing the spectral worlds of Cindy Lee, the lo-fi weight of Duster, and the woozy warmth of Homeshake. It\u2019s music for slow days and private reveries\u2014something to sink into.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The video for&nbsp;<em>Tiny Cowboy<\/em>&nbsp;is a perfect match for the track\u2019s dreamy pull. Constructed from anonymous vacation footage shot in the Maldives\u2014found on a flea market cassette camera, no less\u2014it plays like a dream that doesn\u2019t belong to you but feels strangely familiar.
