But that&#8217;s just half the chaos. Enter&nbsp;<strong>Street Sex<\/strong>, the duo\u2019s shiny new alter ego and namesake band, also dropping its debut LP&nbsp;\u2018<strong>Full Color Eclipse<\/strong>\u2019&nbsp;the very same day. Two records, two identities, one brutally honest evolution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Both albums were produced by Ben Chisholm (Chelsea Wolfe), and they&#8217;re a study in contrasts. On&nbsp;\u2018Dry Drunk,\u2019 Street Sects\u2019 signature abrasive intensity is sharpened to a serrated edge, fueled by vocalist Leo Ashline\u2019s recovery from a crack cocaine relapse and the emotional wreckage that came with it. It&#8217;s harsh, raw, and unflinchingly personal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Ashline\u2019s own words, lead single&nbsp;<strong><em>Spitting Image<\/em><\/strong> channels \u201c<em>a man in the absolute depths of Dry Drunk Syndrome\u2026 he\u2019s stupid and hateful. He might have gotten sober, but he hasn\u2019t changed.\u201d<\/em> Brutal stuff\u2014but if you\u2019ve followed Street Sects, you know they\u2019ve always been about pulling back the curtain, even when the view is disturbing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But on the other side of this emotional wrecking ball is&nbsp;<strong>Street Sex<\/strong>, and things are looking neon-bright and unhinged in all the best ways.&nbsp;<em>Full Color Eclipse<\/em>&nbsp;is pure, high-gloss pop chaos\u2014still dark, still twisted, but wrapped in melody, hooks, and sweat-slicked euphoria.
