The Fresh & Onlys have released the video\u00a0directed by Dawn Carol Garcia\u00a0for their track Presence of Mind<\/em>\u00a0lifted from their upcoming LP ‘Low Slow Dance,’ which out on\u00a0Sept 4 via Mexican Summer.\u00a0Watch the video below.<\/p>\n

‘Long Slow Dance’ is the band’s fourth album and marks a new shapeshifting sound for the band. According to the band and label, ‘Long Slow Dance’ is a mature, anthemic and-in subtle ways-pretty weird album teaming with Morricone-esque flourishes and seemingly disparate genre elements. “We spent more time recording this than we had on records in the past,”<\/em> bassist and co-founder Shayde Sartin says.<\/p>\n

“Phil Manley certainly had a good influence on us in the studio; he’s very meticulous with the kind of sound he’s trying to get for each song, and the record definitely has its own vibe,”<\/em> he says.<\/p>\n

The album was recorded on the same reel-to-reel that Warren Zevon used to record the amazing ‘Werewolves of London’. It’s both the San Francisco act’s most cohesive work to date and a sprawling selection of stoner-anthems.<\/p>\n
