What started as two separate ideas eventually merged into one restless, shape-shifting track. Abrupt shifts, volatile arrangements, and a constant sense of unraveling make \u2018DNB\u2019 a ride that keeps listeners on their toes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vocalist&nbsp;<strong>Cian Dahdouh<\/strong>&nbsp;explains:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>&#8220;Lyrically, the song deals with themes of social anxiety and mania. The narrator is having an internal meltdown as they consistently fail to understand other people\u2019s humour. Not getting a joke is somewhat of a universal experience. I wanted to imagine the most manic or psychotic reaction an individual could have in that situation and make their thoughts sound extremely dramatic and somewhat poetic.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">From DIY Chaos to Uncompromising Noise-Rock<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Bucket\u2019s trajectory has been explosive. Guitarist\/vocalist Cian Dahdouh and bassist&nbsp;<strong>Emmet McNamee<\/strong>&nbsp;first met in college, blending garage-punk and metal\/hardcore roots into DIY-fueled live shows that quickly became the stuff of legend. From sold-out gigs at&nbsp;<strong>The Workman\u2019s Club<\/strong>&nbsp;in Dublin to tearing through DIY spaces across Ireland, the band honed a chaotic, sweat-soaked live energy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Standalone singles like\u00a0<strong><em>Who Knows?<\/em><\/strong> and\u00a0<strong><em>Budgie<\/em><\/strong> hinted at their evolving sound, while 2025\u2019s\u00a0\u2018Muck\u2019 EP cemented their noise-rock credentials. Now joined by drummer\u00a0<strong>Korey Thomas<\/strong>\u00a0(Bricknasty), Bucket operate with a heavier, more rhythm-driven intensity\u2014perfectly showcased on <em>DNB<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What\u2019s next for Bucket<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>With new releases lined up throughout 2026, Bucket are quickly establishing themselves as one of Ireland\u2019s most uncompromising new acts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>DNB<\/em><\/strong> is out now.
