Seven minutes. Fuzz guitar. A groove that doesn’t quit. Little Barrie are back with Luggin’ Hurt<\/em>, the latest single from their forthcoming album ‘Gravity Freeze’, due May 22nd via Easy Eye Sound<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Frontman and guitarist Barrie Cadogan describes how the track came together organically \u2014 what started as the trio working through an arrangement in a room turned into a full-on extended jam that took on a life of its own. A few guitar overdubs later and it became the fuzz-drenched boogie that closes out Side A of the record. As Cadogan puts it, having Luggin’ Hurt<\/em> there helped give the album its balance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The video was directed by Robert Schober, whose credits include work with Metallica, Green Day, and The Killers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
