That&#8217;s kind of the whole point. The New York\/Berlin motorik psych-rock trio has dropped their third single from the new album &#8216;Wendekind&#8217;, and it comes loaded with an experimental video that&#8217;s every bit as transportive as the track itself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Frontwoman Franzi Szymkowiak describes <em>StarDazer<\/em> as &#8220;<em>an exploration of space and time, drawing information from the quantum field through meditation, and drifting through vibrations and dreams.<\/em>&#8221; Which sounds exactly like what it feels like to listen to it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<span class=\"embed-youtube\" style=\"text-align:center; display: block;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"youtube-player\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/UUfqLUVeXZE?version=3&#038;rel=1&#038;showsearch=0&#038;showinfo=1&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;fs=1&#038;hl=en-CA&#038;autohide=2&#038;wmode=transparent\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" style=\"border:0;\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox\"><\/iframe><\/span>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A Video That Lives Inside Your Head<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Director Simone Billarelli approached the visuals not as a narrative, but as a state of consciousness. In his words, &#8220;<em>The protagonist is Lukka herself, who becomes Star Dazer: a permeable figure where time, emotions and perception coexist beyond linearity.<\/em>&#8221; The camera doesn&#8217;t observe \u2014 it drifts. Fragments of lyrics surface and dissolve. The body appears in layers, seen from multiple angles at once, not broken but perceived through time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It builds toward what Billarelli calls &#8220;a perceptual overload, where everything exists at the same time,&#8221; before gradually slowing into something that settles without quite resolving. Haunting in the best possible way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">About &#8216;Wendekind&#8217;<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The new album is Lukka&#8217;s third, recorded at Transmitter Park Studios in Brooklyn and produced by Abe Seiferth (Nation of Language, Neon Indian, Guerilla Toss). It expands on the foundation laid by their 2022 LP &#8216;Something Human,&#8217; pushing deeper into immersive, synth-driven territory \u2014 hypnotic grooves, delayed guitars, propulsive rhythms, layered analog synths. The core trio of Szymkowiak, bassist Ashley Gonzalez, and drummer Simon &#8220;SiFi&#8221; Fishburn is locked in tight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The title carries real personal weight.
