JayWood swirls back with a soulful Spring anthem: ‘UNTITLED (Swirl)’

JayWood is stepping into the season with a new single that feels like a breath of fresh air. UNTITLED (Swirl) is out now—a lush, genre-blending track that floats between soulful introspection and feel-good indie grooves.

Equal parts vulnerable and vibey, the song is a warm call for real connection in a world full of scrolling and surface-level interaction. It’s JayWood at his most honest, most melodic, and most compelling.

Following his recent Tune-Yards collaboration BIG TINGS, this standalone single feels like the next chapter in a creative evolution that’s happening in real time.

JayWood shares: “It’s definitely a song about our relationship with phones and the false sense of connection it creates. I’m reaching out to friends, trying to meet them where they’re at. We don’t always have to do things together—but we’ve got to show up for each other.”

The video, co-directed with Laura-Lynn Petrick, captures that spirit perfectly. Set against the quiet stillness of a Montreal winter, it’s a dreamy visual metaphor for thawing out, waking up, and reaching out.

Petrick adds: “‘UNTITLED (Swirl)’ is about breaking free from isolation and finding your way back to the warmth of real connection.”
