Nic and Eliza Coolidge are KNOX, a brother-sister electronic music duo residing in New York City, who formed in March 2011. They now find themselves working with the likes of John Tejada, Throwing Snow, Paula Temple, Sasha, Maya Jane Coles, and Jori Hulkkonan, as well as being one of Red Bull Music Academy’s 2013 participants. “We are inspired by so much,” the band has said of their influences, “From the consequential sound events of walking down the street, to classical music, to industrial underground. We try to absorb as much as we can and emit what feels natural.”
KNOX recently released their fourth EP, ‘In Dim,’ is a swirling two-track vortex of hymn-like vocals, deep bass and immersive synth lines. With one side featuring Sister KNOX’s vocals and the other Brother KNOX’s, the EP has a cohesive back-to-back duality. Close the door, turn your lights low and listen in. Watch the duo play Out On A Limb live below via YouTube.

As in their last EP ‘Thieving of Well’ (2014), ‘In Dim’ is accompanied by the additional remix of Out On A Limb by Philadelphia’s warped electronic maestro, Moon Bounce, known for combining soulful vocals with jagged percussion. Take a listen via Soundcloud below.
