Grickle Grass Festival is London, Ontario’s most diverse and peculiar musical event – with a twist. The premise is as unlikely as it is awesome. Take twelve spectacular bands from around the country, invite hundreds of curious guests, and bring them to the wildest spaces in London, all miraculously contained under one dreamy roof.

A tree fort, space station, and construction site. A crowded supermarket, Arctic Tundra, mysterious cave, and a stage beneath the belly of a hanging whale skeleton.

It sounds like a wild dream, and in a way it is – but it’s all real, loud, and spectacular, housed in the historical halls and weird rooms of the London Regional Children’s Museum. Grickle Grass is like a shifting kaleidoscope of your favourite people and music all overlapping and moving together – and here you’ll have as much fun as you ever did as a kid.

Adam Sturgeon, Artistic Director said, “Once again, Grickle Grass brings together voices from across Canada’s current underground. Occurring in a space that lends itself to an awe-inspiringly positive experience, the event is at once world-class and wholly atypical for this community.”

Kids can also have plenty of fun at Grickle Grass! During the festival’s daytime programming, there are tons of creative activities for kids and their parents from 10AM til 4PM – and day or night, it’s all for a good cause. To date, Grickle Grass has raised and donated nearly $35,000 to both Growing Chefs and the London Regional Children’s Museum. Helping to provide enriching and educational programming for kids, teaching them about the world they live in as well as how to grow food and eat well in it, Grickle Grass is all about creating a vibrant future for our community. Through these partnerships, Grickle Grass has also sponsored and reforested its very own park, hosted The Children’s Water Festival, and even maintained the staple Grickle Grass Garden that gets planted at the festival each year. Join us day or night and celebrate 8 outstanding years of community spirit and initiative!
