Of Montreal announce feature-length documentary Kickstarter campaign

Of Montreal just launched a Kickstarter campaign to help fund the making of the first ever feature-length documentary about the band. The film titled ‘Song Dynasties’ will feature footage from the very early days of the band through to the present.

In return for your support, Of Montreal is offering up a number of exclusive rewards that you can only get by pledging on Kickstarter, including:

• Limited edition, hand-numbered deluxe DVD version of ‘Song Dynasties’. These will never be available anywhere else. The band is only making as many copies as they receive pledges for.

• ‘Young Froth/Taypiss‘, a 14-song collection of early never-before-released of Montreal recordings recently digitized from Kevin’s old four-track cassettes. Like the DVD, the band will only press as many copies (on 180-gram colored vinyl) as they receive pledges for.

• Original test pressings for Satanic Panic in the Attic, The Sunlandic Twins, and Hissing Fauna, Are You the Destroyer?

There are also other rewards including one-of-a-kind tour props, all access VIP passes from past of Montreal tours, and the opportunity for you and a friend to dress up in costume and dance on stage with the band for a song.
