ONEOHTRIX POINT NEVER Sticky DramaOriginally released via Boiler Room as a live audio-visual broadcast, Oneohtrix Point Never’’s “Sticky Drama (Four Tet Extended Version)” is now available to be viewed on demand for the very first time. Watch it via YouTube below.

We are proud to release this work at a time when the associated films of OPN are finding an ever growing impact and influence.  Just last week the Val Kilmer-starring video for “Animals” was released, and a video retrospective ‘Ecco: The Videos of Oneohtrix Point Never and Related Works’ is currently installed at Los Angeles’ Hammer Museum.

“Sticky Drama (Four Tet Extended Version)” is a concept conceived by Oneohtrix Point Never and brought to life by Boiler Room, in conjunction with the Barbican and Warp Records. The film opens in the Barbican’s famous concert hall and slowly descends into the bowels of the Chamberlin, Powell and Bon designed complex. The almost hour-long remix by Four Tet provides a seamless soundtrack covering the grounds of cyclical minimalism, hypergrunge and passages of pure silence.

A world-class arts and learning organisation, the Barbican pushes the boundaries of all major art forms including dance, film, music, theatre and visual arts. It is a globally-renowned leader of contemporary art movements and has a reputation for ambitious, international programming that crosses art forms.

Since ‘Garden of Delete’ was released in November 2015, OPN has arranged and performed a cover of Janet Jackson’s ‘Rhythm Nation’ with a 160 piece choir for Kenzo’sMen Fall-Winter 2016 runway show in Paris. He also co-produced ANOHNI’s Mercury-nominated album Hopelessness alongside Hudson Mohawke and has toured both this album and Garden of Delete to international acclaim.
