Porcelain Dancer is the brainchild of Yiannis D., an analog synthesizer engineer whose deep love for music and gear has fueled a journey of sonic exploration. After years of crafting instruments and collaborating with artists, Yiannis took an eight-year hiatus—only to return with a renewed creative fire. Having played bass and synthesizers in multiple bands, his constant immersion in music ultimately led to the birth of Porcelain Dancer, a project that channels the raw emotion of post-punk and goth music.

Written in just a few weeks, ‘A Documentary About Nightmares’ emerged from late-night jam sessions filled with intensity, self-reflection, and catharsis. The EP captures a deeply personal process of rediscovery and artistic liberation.

Poison Cloud sets the tone for what’s to come, delving into themes of impulsiveness, distorted reality, and the gradual erosion of logical thought under societal pressure. With brooding basslines, haunting synths, and a pulsing rhythm, the track bridges the essence of classic post-punk with a fresh, introspective edge.

Recorded at Fabrica Studio, the single will be accompanied by live performances across South America, including appearances at Gothic Carnival in Curitiba (March 1, 2025) and Madame Club in São Paulo (March 3, 2025).
