From Swedish roots to U.S. road trip
Born in southern Sweden, The Models quickly became Malmö’s hottest secret. They shared stages with The Soundtrack of Our Lives in Skåne and Copenhagen, rocked city festivals, ragga jams and skateboard meet-ups, then set their sights on America. Thanks to the magic of MySpace, they hit the road in 2007—hitting New York tiki bars, camping on a billionaire’s barn floor in Woodstock, dodging Florida alligators, and playing for fellow bands in Nashville.
