‘Pay The Rent’ – Dancing Through the Crisis
A fierce and unfiltered response to the global cost-of-living crisis, Pay The Rent explores how financial pressures are suffocating the arts. As Ankle Austin puts it, the song is about “dancing at the misery of the situation.”
Set in Kent, the track takes aim at the architects of Brexit and the added difficulties it has placed on touring musicians, making an already tough industry even harder to sustain.
GoFundTrees – A New Way to Keep the Tour Going
Snapped Ankles aren’t just singing about the struggle; they’re finding new ways to fight it. Their GoFundTrees campaign launched Friday, February 21 at 10 AM GMT, offering fans a chance to support the band while getting involved in some wild experiences.
Expect furious dance parties in Epping Forest, online HIIT sessions with album previews, ghillie suit sales, exclusive merch, and more. Learn more at www.gofundtrees.co.uk.
