SPIN returns to Austin, TX on Friday, March 18 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m for SPIN at Stubb’s 14th Annual Day Party, presented by Harley-Davidson and Bud Light.
SPIN at Stubb’s is one of the longest running events during SXSW. The show consistently has one of the conferences strongest and most eclectic line-ups with past artists ranging from Kendrick Lamar, Courtney Barnett, Skrillex and Run the Jewels to Vampire Weekend, The Black Keys, The Killers and Hole. This year’s party will continue in that tradition, anchored by two of today’s most dynamic live acts – CHVRCHES and Deftones.
CHVRCHES released their sophomore album Every Open Eye last fall and was named to SPIN’s Best Albums of 2015. The Scottish electronic-pop trio will also be the first band to play the party twice – as both a developing artist (2013) and now as one of the partys headliners. Multiplatinum, Grammy-winning rock band Deftones released the video for Prayers/Triangles, the first single from their eighth studio album GORE.
