The world’s loudest garage-rock royalty, The Hives, have unleashed their seventh studio album, ‘The Hives Forever Forever The Hives’ — and it’s a riot from start to finish. Out now via Play It Again Sam, the record cranks up the chaos while layering in a glossy pop punch, capturing the explosive magic that’s earned them their “best live band on the planet” title (SPIN’s words, not ours).

Produced by longtime collaborator Pelle Gunnerfeldt (Viagra Boys, Yung Lean), with major contributions from Mike D (Beastie Boys) — who literally flew to Sweden and hosted the band in Malibu — and Josh Homme (Queens of the Stone Age), the album is a stacked, swaggering celebration of 30 years of pure Hives energy.

The band dropped a new track, a frantic victory anthem that’s equal parts adrenaline and attitude. It’s The Hives in peak form — wild, unfiltered, and impossible to sit still through.

From “Randy Fitzsimmons” to Forever

This album follows 2023’s ‘The Death of Randy Fitzsimmons,’ their first release in a decade, which snagged glowing praise from Rolling Stone, The Guardian, Stereogum, and more. Since then, The Hives have been on a relentless tear — touring with Foo Fighters, Arctic Monkeys, and Green Day, headlining multiple sold-out North American runs, and even packing out Mexico City’s Palacio de los Deportes with their largest crowds ever.

2025–2026 World Tour

The Hives aren’t slowing down. Tickets are on sale now for their global tour, which stretches from the UK and Europe to North and South America — including massive dates with My Chemical Romance in early 2026.

Highlights include:

August shows across the UK, including Nottingham Rock City and Alexandra Palace in London.
A full US sweep through September, capped off with Hollywood Palladium in LA.
European arena dates in October and November, including Berlin, Munich, Paris, and Amsterdam.
A hometown blowout at Stockholm’s Avicii Arena on December 6.
January and February 2026: South America with My Chemical Romance — Santiago, São Paulo, Buenos Aires, and more.
